The Crowne Plaza - Canberra has issued a Wristband amnesty for December 13th!

The award winning Binara one bar, situated on the ground floor of the hotel is The Place To Meet after the 2009 Crowne Plaza Canberra City Half Ironman.
All competitors will receive a free drink, simply by cutting off and handing over their competitor wristband at the bar for their first drink, so relax, chill out and share your Half Ironman story with other competitors at Crowne Plaza - Canberra, Binara one.
Note that the offer is open only to competitors post race, and only to those wearing an unaltered wrist band...

The race is set to feature just under 1000 competitors, but will also see a team of around 250 people involved with organising the big event, including many volunteers, who can sign on at www.canberrahalf.com > VOLUNTEERS (and yes we have something arranged for you also!)
